Fresh Plaice is a hugely popular, distinctive looking flat fish with a slightly soft texture and a delicious flavour.
Plaice is a good source of Omega 3 oils and contains plenty of minerals and vitamins.
Our plaice fillets are wild caught from the South West Coast and hand prepared by our fishmonger, delivered pan or oven ready direct to your door. Simply cook the pan-ready plaice fillets in olive oil and/or knob of butter in frying pan or under grill. These plaice fillets (110-140g x 2) are enough to serve 2 main courses (one fillet each).
Best quality from June to October/November.
